Laying of a vinyl covering

The vinyl coverings are one of the most modern and popular solutions to cover the floors of houses and workplaces. 1) Lay on the floor to be covered the roll of vinyl cover. Let a little margin along the walls.

2) Shape with scissors to fit the cover briefly to the irregularities of the perimeter of the surface to be coated.

5) Roll out the cover and trimm the edges which exceed so that end against the wall.

6) The edges of the coating ending at the openings of the doors must be locked with the appropriate laminaes that are screwed to the floor.


7) If there are wooden or plastic skirtings, dismantle them and get the edge of the vinyl covering to the wall, then refit the skirting in place.

8) Another way to apply vinyl flooring consists in arranging a ground pattern in the double-sided tape and arrange over the coating.


9) If you lay vinyl floors in rooms where there are bathroom fixtures or other obstacles, note their profile with cutout sheets of paper.

10) When the paper faithfully represent the profile of the bathroom fixtures, put them on the lining and follow their profile with the cutter to shape the covering.
