Nature provides us with numerous opportunities to defeat parasites, mold and annoying insects without resorting to chemicals, which are often harmful to the body. There are, in this respect, some natural insecticides really effective. Here are some examples.

The Castile soap. It is a natural product made with olive oil, which can become an insecticide spray. Adding a tablespoon of product in a container filled with water, with a pinch of pepper, garlic powder and peppermint, you get an excellent product to combat mealybugs and aphids.

The garlic spray. Being garlic a natural repellent, it can become the basis for a good insecticide. Just blend a head with some cloves and two cups of water. The compound will go then left to stand, and then adde 3 liters of water.

Onion. Another help from nature to keep insects away comes from the onion. Take 10 grams of onion, put in a vase and you pour a liter of boiling water. If you want you can add the liquid to the onion and garlic, making it a unique product.

Tomato insecticide. In this case to be used are the leaves of the plant, since they are rich in alkaloids, they have a repellent function against worms and moths, as well as various aphids. Just chop the leaves to fill two cups, then add water and let soak overnight. The mixture will then be added two cups of water.

Tobacco. Yes, even tobacco acts as an insect repellent. Just take a quantity equal to the contents of 4 cigarettes, then let it soak for two days in a pint of water. The liquid proceeds will then be filtered and used in a spray dispenser.

Insecticide pepper. Th pepper spray is a very easy product to prepare, very effective against pests. To prepare it, blend a dozen peppers along with two glasses of water. The compound will need to rest overnight, then pour it into the sprayer with another glass of water.

Chilli come insetticida naturale

White vinegar and lemon. The insects most boring and numerous, are the flies. To get rid of them, here is a very natural recipe: let soak for a few days in white vinegar lemon peel or eucalyptus leaves. The liquid recovered and filtered will be poured into a vaporizer and sprayed in the house.

Spray with nettles. Very useful against different types of insects is nettle. Just take 20 grams of dried leaves (or fresh leaves 100gr), which will be immersed in a liter of water and let soak for 12 hours at least. This product is also effective against aphids and spider mites.

Neem oil. This powerful natural product is the perfect base for an excellent insecticide, which works also for mites and fungi. The solution should contain neem oil, essential oils of rosemary and lavender. They are all diluted in water. In particular, in 4 liters of water should be dilute 30 ml of Neem oil, 2.50 ml of rosemary and lavender equally. The product should then be sprayed.


Fight mosquitoes


There are also some plants that are specific to fight mosquitoes, that in this season are particularly bad and sometimes even carriers of viruses.

Catambra fantastico insetticida naturale

Catambra is a plant able to ward off mosquitoes in a natural way, ensuring effective protection. It is a plant of the family bignogniacee native to Boreal thanks to catalpolo, a natural substance that contains high amount, exerts a potent mosquito repellent.

All you need is a few plants in the premises of the house to get immediate protection and ensure that mosquitoes become just an unpleasant memory.
This plant does not require special care and has great capacity to adapt. It can be grown in the ground or in pots and placed in the sun as in the shade, it is odorless and it does not bloom or grow in height, it simply swell the stem and leaves.

Its repellent action extends to an area equal to twice its frond, then you do not need to prune it often: More foliage means more protection.

Then there is the plant known as lemon balm or lemon verbena, whose leaves are effective repellent against mosquitoes.

The lemongrass prefers full sun, plenty of water, and rich soil moisture and is able to maintain some moisture without becoming soggy or muddy. It is a deciduous shrub, however, resistant to cold, so it survives the winter; however, in the spring that form new leaves, very fragrant.
