Wallcoverings

Parkour by Gavazzi: Covering Parkour The superficial finish of the inner walls of a building are the final touch of the works of a new construction or a renovation. In choosing, first, and in the installation, then, a series of inputs is reflected, ranging from mere and practical economic ones to the taste of the client and the designer, to the ability of the workers to give the works done in a workmanlike art, an essential condition for the enjoyment and fair evaluation of the result.

From simple, timeless finishes in painted plaster up to the various types of coatings, stone or wood or other materials yet, what is sought is a final effect that expresses the pleasure of enjoying the spaces created and/ or communication to visitors of our idea of livability, common areas and much more.

Sometimes, just as it happens when you make other choices, including that of finishing materials is made clearly to represent your social status, or, at least, the idea that it should be in the eyes of others. All this is, after all, legitimate and leaves a number of possibilities, designers and companies, in order to propose new and rather unusual solutions.

Coverings, fabrics and textures

There is an old and established tradition that regards the finishing in plaster, in its many variations technical and expressive, and there is an equally long tradition which regards the fabrics used for wall coverings; the evolution of technologies, the creation of new materials and modern production of the known ones, as well as the creativity and the desire to innovate in a number of manufacturing, they put on the market a number of new solutions that can make enjoyable, intriguing and powerful the aesthetic effect of a wall covering.

Innovation and aesthetic taste are present in the line Parkour, distributed by Gavazzi, which consists of eight graphics solutions on fiberglass and three on Nonwoven (TNT) that can be painted with acrylic products, and can donate aesthetic effects in which to combine textures and colors. The quality of the background fabric also has a significant value in terms of the durability of the finished surfaces, because it provides excellent protection against cracks and it has a very good resistance to abrasion.

Parkour by Gavazzi: Covering Mosaic The speed of installation, combined with technical and aesthetic qualities, is a fundamental requirement of the products by Parkour, which are also anti-bacterial, have excellent fire resistance and can be used in installations such as in private environments to public use and high attendance. The graphic patterns available in fiberglass and quartz particles are called Bali, Espace, Kaleidoscope, Kilim, Mosaic, Parkour, Seaweeds and Spectrum; those in non-woven pierced polyester are called Labyrint, Sequence and Twist.

Panels cladding in MDF

Further innovation in the field, result of research aimed at finding new spaces in this particular sector of the market for building materials, and also to provide new and intriguing technical solutions and high aesthetic value to architects, is the one represented by the MDF panels of the line Urban Panel produced by Post Solutions, which is characterized by a modern use of this material produced in panels with a high design content, characterized by peculiar and refined texture and surface effects.

Post Solutions: Urban Panel Trame T06 The line of panels in MDF Urban Panel, is composed, in turn, by four series which are distinguished, each, by particular types of surface effects: the series Modellati, composed of 7 different panels, 6 of which produced in lacquered finish and one paste lacquered and colored; the series Trame, composed of 9 different panels, produced with lacquered finish and/ or paste colored, characterized by a design of the surface type, precisely, to plot with the thickness of the variable parts; the series Codici, composed of 8 different panels in lacquered and/ or colored paste, in which the superficial design is set on graphic effects that recall pixels or circular elements of different size and depth, arranged according to a rule and a mathematical sequence.

The latest series is called Forati, consisting of 6 different panels produced with lacquered finish, colored pasta, bicolor and resin, which incorporate some designs of the other series, replacing the depth of some graphics real holes, which let the light in. While the panels of the series Trame, Modellati and Codici are available in standard size of 60x60 cm, with a maximum thickness of cm.3, the panels of the series Perforati also have a maximum thickness of cm. 3 cm, they are produce in size 120x120 cm.
