The features of the stone hob

The kitchen hob can be built utilizing very different materials.
The most common is stainless steel, with gas-powered burners and grills, which is not usually integrated into the worktop, but highly appreciated for its peculiar characteristics such as hygiene and non-toxicity.

For those who do not like the traditional hob and are looking for a look which can be able to integrate as much as possible with the worktop in order to look like a single surface, the stone hob is an ideal solution.

Some companies on the market have faced the problem of the finish of the hob, which is not always perfectly coordinated with the materials for kitchen tops.

The EuroCucina fair which takes place every two years in Milan is an opportunity to bring together the best producers, designers and other professionals in the sector.
Numerous companies show their latest solutions, presenting new designs, concepts, themes, technology and materials.

The exhibition presents creative solutions to hide various kitchen appliances and furniture, responding to the trend of their integration into continuous surfaces, such as the induction hob hidden under the kitchen top.

The hob, which until now has always been limited to steel and glass-ceramic materials, marries the noblest materials that nature offers, celebrating their refinement and eternal solidity: marble, stone, granite or porcelain stoneware, forming a single body with the entire slab of the top of the cooking or standing out from it.

Stone hob for a luxury kitchen

The Pramar Stone company produces hobs in natural stones in order to create an integration with the worktop or to make your kitchen unique and precious.

Pramar Stone creates excellent craftsmanship masterpieces from the heart of stone, by merging research and experience and using the innovative technology for the production of hobs in marble, granite, onyx, porcelain stoneware and quartz.

The Double Collection kitchen thus becomes the undisputed protagonist, composed of refined lines from which the most precious materials transcend, infusing rarity with a touch of excellence.

The fires emerge from a stone slab forming a single element with the entire slab of the kitchen top or, in the countertop version, creating brilliant contrasts with all the other different materials.

All the elements that make up the kitchen are real luxury furnishings, representing the highest expression of Made in Italy.

At the same time, they guarantee maximum functionality and practicality of the hobs by means of special maintenance and restoration kits, designed to enhance and maintain the nuances of the stone.

The kitchen surfaces, treated with nano-technological products, guarantee maximum practicality and high protection from stains and scratches.

The kitchens become a sartorial masterpiece, obtained from the fusion of technology, nature and design, creating a unique prestige piece of furniture in the home.

On the company's website, thanks to the special configurator, anyone has the opportunity to build their own exclusive hob, choosing materials and finishes and requesting all the technical and commercial details directly from the company.

The hob that disappears under the kitchen top

Offmat, the research laboratory of Marmo Arredo spa, is an experimental workshop that combines industrial excellence, innovation and contemporary design in a new philosophy of study and production.

A platform of ideas and solutions at the service of the best brands of modern living that extends the scope of application of materials towards extra-ordinary interpretations.

The Tulèr project, by Tipic, is a responsive kitchen with elegant and solid shapes, where technique and structural harmony converge to amplify the properties of the stone and conceive an evolved and multifunctional island.

The stone top is suspended on a single column-pedestal which constitutes a service element for the flow of water, drains and electrical conduits.

The induction hob for cooking food is installed under the thin stone layer and signaled on the surface by a laser processing, activated by gestural or capacitive commands.

Thanks to research and experimentation on the different materials, the cooking element disappears completely freeing the material from any presence of fires or different elements.

The technology is integrated into the hob: this can happen thanks to Offmat induction technology, a new way of cooking by placing food in direct contact with matter.

The materials used were born from the collaboration with Quarzforms and developed by Tipic; a collection of industrial synthetic stones with original designs and colors and unmatched technical qualities.

Induction hobs integrated into the worktop

Two large Italian companies, ARIOSTEA and Binova have interpreted the ceramic in the ULTRA PIETRE collection in a precious surface for the kitchen environment.

Ultra ceramic slabs can be transformed into worktops, induction hobs, washbasins and tables, creating masterpieces of the culture of living.

Ultra stoneware surfaces are not afraid of wear, do not absorb, do not stain, do not disperse substances, are antibacterial, scratchproof, easy to clean, able to withstand high and low temperatures and do not change their appearance over time: this guarantees an unchanged tactile experience and the most amazing look.

The ULTRA PIETRE collection is characterized by the naturalness of quarry stones, indelibly preserving a sculptural and refined timeless beauty.
Infinity Black, Galaxy Gray and White Ocean are inspired by this feature.

The porcelain stoneware slabs produced by Ariostea guarantee maximum durability and effectiveness as they are fired at a temperature of 1300 ° C, managing to perfectly reproduce the characteristics of all the materials that nature creates.

Ariostea offers its customers a very wide selection of products, made with raw materials of the highest quality, ranging from marble, stone, wood, all made with the highest technology, in order to stand out on the market as well as for quality versatility.

In addition, the company receives a high score according to the LEED system, for respect for the environment, thanks to the composition of its stoneware slabs that contain a high percentage of recycled dough, equal to 40%.
